STOP PRESS . . . . THE D.A.M. / SOLA SOUND PRO MK II TONEBENDER . . . . .
Last year we decided to reissue our most famous pedal the Pro MK II . After finding the very finest case makers in the country to make the enclosure , we approached David Main ( the finest boutique pedal builder in the UK ) to make this pedal .
We thought they would be sought after but to be honest we were totally unprepared for the response . We are sold out roughly 4 - 6 months in advance of order . There is however a waiting list . If you want to be on it - email me ( Anthony ) info@macaris.co.uk and I will let you know details of production and a rough waiting time for your MK II .
Larry and Joe Macari ( our Dads ) started the Sola Sound company back in 1962 and went on to make a line of effects pedals called Colorsound . We're very pround to be carrying on that tradition - still producing the old favorites plus now and then something new - like the Dick Denney Fuzz box and the .. . . ah well - watch this space - there are some exciting new products in the pipeline .
All the Colorsound effects are lovingly hand built using top quailty components - we are still using the original machines for pressing out the cases - same man does the artwork and the same ears do the testing !
